DAY 2 – Your Favorite Movie

This one is probably going to be the easiest of the 30 days……..hands down…….

GONE WITH THE WIND!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are so many reasons I love this movie.  Mostly because it depicts the pageantry, grandeur, opulence, and elegance of the old south.  But also because it is epic, it is sweeping…you get lost in it and Scarlett is one of those rare characters that you pity, revere, envy, admire and adore all at the same time.  I know it has taken criticism through the years for romanticizing the civil war.  Maybe it isn’t an accurate portrayal but I love it.  I love every single thing about it.  I know every line and every scene…every dress…every famous Vivian Leigh facial expression…all of it.  I never tire of it.  I have seen it a million times and will see it a million more.
